We snacked on grapes and pop corn, and listened to some old-time jazz that was super fun! We all had a great time and class ran over after we were all done just because we were visiting!
The cards we made turned out to be lovely. I CASEd the two from Pinterest - that's Copy And Share Everything. They feature the Petal Pair embossing folders. The first one uses Calypso Coral shimmer ribbon that I earned as a free gift! Isn't it gorgeous?
The second one features the Whisper White Organza ribbon from the Petal Passion suite, peeking out from behind the cardstock.
On another version, I colored the ribbon with my Stampin' Blends to match the die cut roses, and rouched it for some lovely texture.
The following is a card I designed myself, using Sweet Sugarplum. The stamps were used to make a nice background as well as the bird for the focal point. I just love that font!
To give the flowers some extra dimension, I colored them in with a Powder Pink Stampin' Write Marker. The embellishments from this suite add the perfect charm to any project!
For my next card, I modified a card we made at OnStage where I first fell in love with this suite. Here's the card from that event:
For mine, I switched out a few elements and changed the color scheme to Pool Party with shades of gray. Simple modifications can really change the whole look and feel of a card! I was really proud of this one and I love the way it turned out!
I used the gray Shimmer Ribbon from the free Sale-A-Bration three-pack!
