Holiday Catalog Premier and BOGO Sale!

We had such a great time at the Holiday Catalog Premier and BOGO Sale yesterday!

I had lots of retired goodies to choose from and these ladies got over $120 in FREE products from the new catalog! We also had a door prize winner, some yummy snacks, as well as entertainment (from my children!)

I really enjoyed making our cards. Here's one I CASEd from Windy Ellard, modified to use Night of Navy instead of Elegant Eggplant. This enabled us to try the Precision Base Plate and we learned that when die cutting glimmer paper with an intricate die, you should cut from the back of the paper!

This is a bad inspired by Pootles Papercraft, featuring the new Petals and Paisley suite. The stamp is from the Tin of Tags and we added a gold binder clip and gold star.

The new glitter ribbon duo pack worked beautifully on our Wonder of Christmas card! We watercolored using aqua painters and Stazon black ink. It was so easy to coordinate with Sweet Sugarplum ink and sequins. Wink of Stella gave her that extra sparkle!

One of my favorite cards was this one I CASEd from Karen Spreckley (this is only the card front, it goes on a Crumb Cake base) featuring the Cookie Cutter bundle. That little guy is just too cute and the Candy Cane Lane paper compliments it beautifully! The stitched edge ribbon is one of the first things in the new catalog that I knew I wanted!

This card makes me feel all warm and fuzzy! The bow builder works so well with the Warmth and Cheer paper, and again we used a sentiment from the Tin of Tags stamp set. That cable knit dynamic embossing folder is SO COOL! Just have to touch it! Beth Arnold was the inspiration for this card.

And of course we couldn't use the Cookie Cutter punch without making some reindeer like this card I found on Pinterest. We decided it's Donder and Blitzen on either side of Rudolf here. A sentiment could easily be added at the bottom with heat embossing or a banner.

And finally, we made this bottle or gift tag by fussycutting that house out from the Candy Cane Lane paper. That paper is pretty enough to use on its own right!! This is the glitter ribbon that comes in the same pack with the Sweet Sugarplum - and you can color it with a marker if you wanted to change colors.

One of my favorite things about this one is the little detail of washi tape peeking out from behind the white piece. It's the Warmth and Cheer suite and it just adds the right umph to this project.

Our next workshop will be a spinner card class on October 6th and a Cookie Cutter class on October 17th - stick around for more details!

Happy creating!
Your demonstrator,
Rachel
